P.D.O. Pistachio from Bronte flavoured crunchy biscuits

In combination with GelatoMadre Pistacchio with “P.D.O. Green Pistachio from Bronte”

INGREDIENTS:
315 gr. Wheat flour type 00
250 gr. Powdered sugar
300 gr. Butter
125 gr. Pistachio flour (obtained from finely chopped Pistachios from Bronte)
450 gr. (1 tub) GelatoMadre Pistacchio with "P.D.O. Green Pistachio from Bronte"

SUGGESTION:

You can make these biscuits more rustic by grinding more roughly about 30-40 g of pistachios in order to get crunchy grains.

 

PREPARATION:

Put the butter and the sugar into the kneading machine to mix them well. Add the pistachio flour and the flour type 00 and stir well.

Once the mixture is ready, cover it with a film and leave standing for 3 hours in the refrigerator. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a 3mm thickeness and cut into biscuits.

Cook in pre-heated oven for 6 minutes at 170 °. Serve 3-4 biscuits in a cup filled with GelatoMadre Pistacchio with “P.D.O. Green Pistachio from Bronte”.
